ok, so I just found this posted over on heman.org. and cos I don't agree what they're doing I'm never drawing anymore he-man fan art here. so I apologize to anyone who likes my heman fanart, but there won't be any more.
Firstly I want to say, that I don't have a problem with them posting the art, they are giving adequate credit for the art, but basically they are just ripping deviant art heman works and posting them into their forum and having a critique session. fair enough, maybe they are just fanworks but the least they could do is post the artist and say we've featured your art here. Then their critiquing may actually warrant some merit. the artist may learn something and improve. but as it stands, its just a bit of a bitch session.
I don't have a problem with the critiquing (and I'm not actually complaing about it. 98% of it was positive) , some of it was insightful and use full, but totally worthless when its not handed back to the artist in question(I'm sure most of you will agree).
I would prefer you tell me face to face if you like or dislike my art, rather than do it underhandedly on another forum I don't visit.
